Part of our Lacuna's radical philosophy of free expression in our writing also extends to our reading. The Abolitionist Book Club, or the ABC, is a reading group where people interested in books about prison abolition. In line with out antiracist editing practices, the ABC offers a group setting to read abolitionist books and later meet virtually to discuss the reading.

Our current book for the ABC is Saving Our Own Lives: A Liberatory Practice of Harm Reduction by Shira Hassan.
